Design controls

Site Editor
Edit the header, footer, navigation and templates with core blocks in Appearance → Editor. No page builder.
Opening photograph
Replace the homepage Cover image and drag its focal point; a type-only opening pattern is included for sites without a hero photo.
Contact sheet photo shape
Choose 3:2, 4:5, square or 16:9 thumbnails for Work, archive and search pages.
Layout density
Compact, comfortable or spacious spacing between strips, thumbnails and sections.
Project details in lists
Show or hide the date and category under each project in strips and the contact sheet.
Reading width and article options
Text width 520–1040px, article spacing, image corners and an optional reading progress line.
Colours and style variations
Recolour from the palette, or switch to Clear, Literary or Ink & Paper in Styles → Browse styles.
Mounted print image style
An Image block style that adds a white mat and thin rule around a photograph.
Fonts
Manrope is served from your own site; choose other fonts in Styles → Typography or the Font Library.

Setup

  1. Upload the theme ZIP at Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme and activate it.
  2. Optional: import sample content with the demo importer (1.1.1 or newer).
  3. Under Settings → Reading choose Your latest posts.
  4. Create a Work page and assign the Work: contact sheet template.
  5. Replace the opening photograph in Appearance → Editor → Templates → Front Page.
  6. Add each series as a post with a featured image, excerpt and one category.
