Freelance Desk is a Ghost theme by Peachfin Themes with a home page laid out like a magazine front. Your name forms the masthead, with an italic introduction, opening paragraph and captioned photograph beneath it.

The home page brings together a fee table from your Rates page, an About section with a portrait and numbered credentials, quotes, a writing index and contact details. Posts support drop caps, pull quotes, editor’s notes and footnotes, while a separate writing archive groups your posts by year.

Readers can subscribe through newsletter forms and Ghost Portal, access members-only or paid posts, search your publication and join native comments. Twenty custom settings include eight colour palettes, three masthead layouts, body font options and controls for home page sections.

Freelance Desk suits freelance writers, editors, journalists, critics, translators, copywriters, consultants and other independent professionals who publish a newsletter. Its layout brings published work, services, rates, credentials and contact details together on the home page.
