Setup

  1. On a computer, open Tumblr in a web browser and go to your blog.
  2. Open Edit appearance, then Edit theme.
  3. Under the theme name, click Edit HTML.
  4. Select all of the existing code, delete it, and paste in everything from theme.html.
  5. Click Update Preview, check the preview, then click Save.
  6. Go back to the theme settings to set the options. They appear under Theme options.

Bookmark brings a bright reading-room palette to your Tumblr, with book-spine navigation and a two-column layout suited to text. Geist and Newsreader pair clean lettering with a bookish feel, while a currently-reading card keeps your latest book close by.

All listed Tumblr post types are supported, including reblog trails and tags. Readers can use search or browse pages, and an ask box is included. Choose background and canvas colours, then adjust the text and accent. Rating colours have their own setting. Enter your current book and author, then set your reading progress. You can hide the reading card or search, and switch to plain rating tags.
