Setup

  1. On a computer, open Tumblr in a web browser and go to your blog.
  2. Open Edit appearance, then Edit theme.
  3. Under the theme name, click Edit HTML.
  4. Select all of the existing code, delete it, and paste in everything from theme.html.
  5. Click Update Preview, check the preview, then click Save.
  6. Go back to the theme settings to set the options. They appear under Theme options.

Rain-dark city imagery and magenta and cyan neon give Neon District its cyberpunk feel. Bracketed interface frames sit alongside glitch accents in this custom HTML theme for Tumblr on desktop web. Chakra Petch and Saira Condensed pair with Share Tech Mono to complete the interface.

Use it for all Tumblr post types, with support for reblog trails and tags. Search and pages are included, plus an ask box. Choose a two-column or single-column layout. Set Background and Panel colours, then adjust Text. Magenta and Cyan have their own colour settings. Add your own Status text, and use the Clear Skies and Original Photos switches in the customizer.
