Fitting Room is an editorial store for brands that present products by collection or season. Large portrait photographs sit beside headlines and numbered product keys on the home page, followed by a category index. The shop and product pages include option choices such as sizes, with a journal alongside the catalog. The layout suits fashion, beauty, jewelry, eyewear, shoes, home goods and lifestyle products. The demo uses clothing as example products; you replace every product, photograph and label with your own.
Each product or size can open a checkout link from Stripe Payment Links, Lemon Squeezy, Polar or Shopify. You create the hosted checkout and keep its price and currency aligned with the catalog. The optional Stripe Checkout cart uses your own secret key and requires a server adapter; only the Node adapter was tested. Fitting Room shares the cart code used for a complete Joinery Stripe test-mode payment on localhost, including server-side pricing and refusal of tampered requests.
You edit products, looks, categories, journal entries and pages as Markdown files. EmDash is an optional content source that replaces these files with database content and an admin screen. In that mode a Node server renders pages on request, while site settings remain in src/site.config.ts. The download includes 11 CC0 photographs with credits in ASSETS.json. Replace the fictional label, products and sample policies with information for your own shop.
