Parley presents a software product through a site-wide question-and-answer transcript. A prompt-line heading opens the home page, followed by numbered turns with a speaker gutter, large questions and answers below. Wide answers give pictures and tables room across the page. It is a template for any software product, including SaaS, apps, developer tools, AI assistants, analytics, booking and business software. Hollin is example content you replace with your own product name, wording and pictures.
The pictures are image slots for your own product screenshots or photographs. No product interface is drawn in the template. Each slot supports alt text, a caption, an optional dark-palette variant and a crop ratio. Captions appear as numbered source lines under the framed pictures. Feature pages answer individual questions, customer stories read as interviews, and release pages record changes in a dated log. The home page’s turns can be reordered or removed in the settings, and its closing prompt searches the site. Four palettes, adjustable widths and optional photo treatments let you change the appearance.
Plans and add-ons open external checkout links that you paste from your own payment provider. Recurring products have separate links for monthly and yearly billing. Supported providers include Stripe Payment Links, Lemon Squeezy and Polar. Your provider handles payments and subscriptions. The pricing table compares plan facts, and each plan has its own page. The optional Stripe Checkout cart for one-off add-ons is off by default and requires a server adapter and your own Stripe secret key.
Edit the Markdown collections and src/site.config.ts, or use the optional EmDash CMS edition described in EMDASH.md. Run npm run emdash:setup on Node.js, or npm run emdash:setup — –target cloudflare for Cloudflare Workers. Run npm run emdash:revert to return to Markdown; this does not export CMS content. EmDash manages content, menus and supported site settings, while transcript and appearance settings remain in the configuration file. Parley version 1.0.0 costs $47 USD one-time.
