Local Business is an Astro template that puts practical visiting and contact information beside your opening headline. A contact card groups the phone number, email, opening hours and address, with a wide photograph below. Services, prices and work photographs follow. The layout suits shops, trades, clinics, salons, repair services, studios and community businesses that people call, visit or book. The fictional Marlow Garden Studio is example content you replace with your own business details, photographs and services.
The first service receives a feature panel, while the remaining services form a priced list. The Services and prices page shows the full offering and answers common questions. Customer quotes and an About section give space for your background, licenses and memberships. Recent work has its own page of photographs and captions. You can hide individual home sections or enable news on the home page; news entries also have tag pages and an RSS feed.
The phone number stays in the desktop header and becomes a Call button on phones. The main button calls your number by default, uses email when no phone is supplied or opens your booking page when you set a URL. The address links to a map search. An optional contact form posts name, email and message to an HTTPS endpoint you configure. Local Business sells nothing by default and has no payment code. Its included store module is off and can be enabled to sell fixed-price items through hosted checkout links.
Edit business details, services, quotes, photographs and home sections in src/site.config.ts. Longer pages and news use Markdown. Eight palettes, individual color overrides, font selection and rounded or square corners let you change the presentation. The optional EmDash CMS edition handles pages, news, menus and supported site settings on Node.js or Cloudflare Workers. Services, hours, contact details and work photographs remain in the configuration file. Local Business version 1.0.0 costs $47 USD one-time.
