Site Editor
Edit templates, header, footer, navigation and homepage sections with core blocks in Appearance → Editor. No page builder.
Colour palette
7 palette colours (Paper white, Ink, Olive, Terracotta, Morning mist, Muted text, Rule) in Styles → Colors.
Style variations
Evening (dark), Plain sans and Large print in Styles → Browse styles.
Fonts
Literata and DM Sans are served from your own site; a System serif option downloads no font.
Theme Setup
Set reading width (520–1040px), article spacing, chapter photo size (72, 96 or 128px), photo corners and whether chapter hours show.
Chapters
The homepage chapters follow the category slugs morning, midday and evening; category names can be changed freely.
Ritual card and steps
Insert the Ritual card (an ordinary table of takes, needs and when) and Steps patterns, or give any numbered list the Numbered steps style.
Page templates
Assign Day-book index, About, Contact, Full width or Canvas to any page.

Setup

  1. Upload and activate the theme ZIP in Appearance → Themes.
  2. Create categories with the slugs morning, midday and evening, and keep Settings → Reading on Your latest posts.
  3. Create an Index page with the Day-book index template, plus About and Contact pages with their templates and patterns.
  4. Change colours, fonts and sections in Appearance → Editor, and presentation in Appearance → Theme Setup.
  5. Demo content is fictional: replace the sample entries, pages and photographs before publishing.
