Corner is an Astro website template for cafés, bakeries, coffee shops and small venues, priced at $47 USD one-time. It brings menus, opening hours, events, catering information and directions into a site with wide color bands, rounded photographs and a header showing your address and hours. The demo uses Halfmoon, a fictional bakery and café, as example content you replace with your own business details, menu, photographs and text.
The weekly specials board is Corner’s signature feature. It shows a column for each weekday, takes closed days from your opening hours and marks today in your business’s time zone. Menu pages organize items into sections with prices and dietary labels. Event pages open a booking link to your own booking or ticket tool. Contact and catering forms post to the configurable HTTPS endpoint in forms.action; when that setting is empty, they open the visitor’s email app with the answers addressed to contact.email. The visitor must send that draft, and the page explains that nothing has been sent.
Commerce is enabled in the supplied example for cakes, gift cards, boxes and tins. You can add checkout links per product or variant using Stripe Payment Links, Polar, Lemon Squeezy or Shopify. The optional Stripe Checkout cart needs a server adapter and your own Stripe secret key. Its Stripe testing used mocks; a hosted adapter and Stripe test-mode payment have not been verified for Corner. In src/site.config.ts, you can switch off extras such as the specials board and product sales while keeping the menu, events, catering and Visit pages.
Edit menus, specials, events, products, journal entries and pages in the source content files, and change site wording, colors, hours and navigation in src/site.config.ts. Any coding agent can help edit these files using the README and GETTING-STARTED instructions. The download includes an EmDash edition for editing content, menus and site settings, tested with EmDash 1.1.0 on Node and locally on Cloudflare. Replace sample policies and placeholder links before publishing, and rebuild when seasonal specials or event listings need to change.
